Raven's Staff of power has a top shaped like a Raven's head and is coloured black with a bronze spiral support below. It also contains the Raven's Eye.

Series 2 to 10[]

Series 11 onward[]

Powers[]

  • Telepathy - Raven uses his staff to reveal what the warriors are thinking at the start and end of each day and how they feel about the challenges faced.
  • Resurrection - Raven uses his staff to bring back warriors who have been lost in challenges.
  • Lightning Power - Raven can use his staff to channel energy, whether for destroying objects or Demons or in battle (generally with Nevar)
  • Portals and Teleportation - Raven can use his staff to open portals such as after Warrior's Race in Series 7 and teleport warriors directly (such as with Yaeda, Karja and Taylan at The Gulley), as well as on a few occasions, himself.
  • Opening doors - Raven can use his staff to open normal doors and other objects (such as the Way of The Warrior doors, the door to the Wizard's Tower and the Torture Chamber, and the treasure chest from Spider Tunnel).

Nevar's Staff of Power[]

Nevar stole the Enchanted Oak and used it to create a Staff of Power for himself; as a result, each time he uses his Staff for evil, half of his remaining life-force is taken away, taking its toll on his mind and his body. The Staff was weaker than Raven's own in terms of power, as Raven himself noted during his dual with Nevar at the end of The Secret Temple. Raven was seemingly able to destroy the Staff, but Nevar was seen with it again in his later enocunters with his nemesis. It is unknown if the Staff shown in later appearances was supposed to be the same Staff as before or another.

Series 11 onwards[]

With Nevar's new appearance for the revival series, his staff was also redesigned. It now bears a bird's skull at its top, with a ring going through the eyeholes.

Powers[]

  • Lightning Power - Nevar uses his staff to channel energy, generally this is either used while battling Raven, or trying to hit warriors.

  • Telepathy - Similar to Raven, Princess Erina uses her staff to reveal what the warriors are thinking at the start and end of each day and how they feel about the challenges faced.
  • Sparks - Erina is able to use her staff to shoot fireworks of sparks into the sky - this power was used to send a Secret Message, attempting to trick Nevar into thinking the warriors have all been lost so that he will loosen his security around his Fortress.

Other Staffs of Power[]

Cyrus' Staff of Power[]

Cyrus the Astronomer carries a staff, likely to be a staff of power, which is topped with a carving of a ringed planet, depicted similarly to Saturn. It is unknown what powers this staff possesses.

Ultimate Warrior Staffs[]

As a prize for winning the tournament, from season 2 onwards, the ultimate warrior in each season is presented with a staff of power for their own. It is unknown what powers these staffs have.

The Golden Staffs[]

Similar to in the original series, the winners of the Raven: The Secret Temple and Raven: The Dragon's Eye spin-offs were presented with staffs of power, referred to as Golden Staffs.

Sonro's Golden Staff[]

Sonro, winner of Raven: The Secret Temple was presented with a golden staff by Raven after managing to collect the Elixir of Life and escape the Secret Temple. True to its name, the staff was gold in colour and shorter than the staffs of the main characters. It was ornately carved and topped with a golden orb, with a white jewel at its peak. It is unknown what powers this staff possessed.

Arkil's Golden Staff[]

Arkil, winner of Raven: The Dragon's Eye was presented with a staff by the Spirit Lord after managing to obtain and destroy the Dragon's Eye. It was shorter than those of the main characters and ornately carved from wood. It was topped with a carving of a dragon's head and a jewel. It is unknown what powers this staff possessed.

Demon Staffs[]

In Raven: The Island, Nevar had armed a number of his demon guards with staffs of power, taken from the stolen Enchanted Oak. The Demons' staffs are topped with a carving of a skeletal human hand holding a black orb. At least twelve of these staffs are known to have been made, as the demons featured in the challenges Demon Vanquish, The Totality Clock (two each) and Door to the Inner Chamber and Inner Chamber (four each) all carried staffs. It is likely more were also made.
